Beetroot burger – Vegan Hamburger

People think Vegans only eat grass, seeds and stones - this video will show you how wrong this idea is ! And how delightful a cruel-free hamburger can be.

  • Prep: 15 mins
  • Cook: 20 mins
  • Yields: 8 / 12 burgers


1Mix chickpeas, mushrooms, onion and garlic

2In a large bowl, mix beetroot, chickpeas, and add the first mix

3Add the sesame paste

4Add paprika, salt and pepper

5Form into small balls, which you can flatten out

6Cook in a pan, with hot oil

7Once cooled down, you can freeze them.


1 grated cooked beetroot

1 large tin of chickpeas, blended

3 tablespoons of oats

70g common mushrooms, finely chopped

1 large onion, chopped

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame paste

2 tablespoons paprika, to taste
